Amy Schwartz, Cards Against Humanity’s Design Director knew my style and interests would be the perfect fit for their latest supplemental card pack about Sega Genesis, Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, and general geekery. The answer was a cheerful White Knight, a powerful and babely tabletop-playing mage, and a fun Mario-style type treatment, all on an N64 cartridge. I even got to livestream part of the illustration process!

Eater.com’s annual Young Guns celebration honors the best up-and-coming individuals in the restaurant industry across the United States. To ring in the class of 2016, I developed a flexible design system for the year's festivities, anchored by big June bash. Treating brand moments for the entire experience, digitally and physically.

Vox Media celebrated the introduction of Concert, their latest premium advertising offering, with a big shindig at NYC’s Upfronts/NewFronts 2016. From the first save-the-date to the last cocktail napkin of the night, I collaborated with the event coordinators and executive team to create an impactful, cohesive system across all collateral. The identity stemmed from a literal translation of the “Concert” product, inspired by gritty silkscreened gig posters — “DJ set by Questlove” is one benefit you don’t downplay.
Highly custom snaps for the IGN Discover channel.
In Summer 2015, IGN became a featured Snapchat Discover channel — one of 20 curated and monetized feeds that go live with new content every single day to a massive audience. The Snaps in these feeds are 10 seconds long, vertical (the opposite of how we traditionally think about video), and must account for incongruent screen size ratios across all mobile devices. I worked with IGN’s production team to illustrate and design over two dozen Snaps that went live in December 2015.
